Vizio’s M series The line (8/10, WIRED Recommends) is among our favorites if you do not want to spend a lot, thanks to its excellent local regulation, which gives it a solid contrast, as well as its Smartcast interface. The latter makes it easy to share the screen from your laptop or phone to the TV.

This Hisense U8G (8/10, cable recommendations) is a great choice if you want to play games on your TV. Its 120 Hz refresh rate allows for incredibly fluid and responsive play, and also makes it great for sports. Plus, it has a nice stand if that’s the kind of thing you care about.

55-inch TCL 6 Series

TCL stands out for making great TVs at much lower prices than its competitors, and this set of 6 55-inch series (9/10, WIRED recommends) is no exception. Its mini-LED backlighting allows for amazing contrast levels, as well as a Roku interface and built-in Chromecast support.

This Nakamichi soundbar system is not cheap, but it is the lowest we have tested. Two mega subwoofers provide serious enough to shake the foundations of the Earth. Or at least you feel like it. It also includes a pair of rear surround speakers, to give you a better surround sound than most sound bars offer on their own.

From the developer behind Disgraced i Dam, the latest from Arkane is a stealth shooter based on time loops. Instead of making your way through a linear story, it finds you on an island where every time you die, time begins again. It is a complex shooting game that challenges the player to fight smarter, instead of coming in with lit weapons. The PC version is also on sale for $ 28 ($ 10 off).

This full-frame mirrorless from Panasonic is one of our favorite cameras if you want to record professional-quality videos. We’ve typically seen its best price around $ 1,700 (though it often appears beyond that), but it now has an additional $ 90 discount, which is the lowest we’ve seen.

It doesn’t matter how good your camera is if you don’t have enough light on the subject. This Godox LED video light comes with a dial on the back to adjust its brightness, as well as a remote control that you can use to change the color temperature. It is a useful workhorse for most projects.
