2023 March Madness live updates: Pittsburgh-Xavier in action


The first weekend of the 2023 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament ends today with eight more teams looking to punch their ticket to the Sweet 16.

For starters, 11-seeded Pittsburgh currently faces 3-seeded Xavier. After that, John Calipari’s Kentucky team takes on Kansas State at 2:40 pm ET, while Michigan State will battle Marquette at 2:15 pm ET.

Later, Adama Sanogo leads the top-4 UConn Huskies against the top-5 Saint Mary’s, while Ryan Kalkbrenner and the Creighton Bluejays follow with a matchup against Scott Drew’s Baylor Bears.

Tonight, 16-seeded Fairleigh Dickinson looks to continue its Cinderella run against Florida Atlantic, Miami takes on Trayce Jackson-Davis and the Indiana Hoosiers, and Drew Timme leads the No. 3-seeded Gonzaga Bulldogs vs. Mike Miles Jr. and the TCU Horned Frogs.
