The NBA coaching carousel already started moving moments after the 2022-23 regular season ended.
At least a couple of teams have already announced that they will let go of their current coach, hoping to find a new voice that can generate positive results like Mike Brown did with the Sacramento Kings or how Jacque Vaughn helped steer the ship for the Brooklyn Nets. after his mid-season hire.

PERSONNEL CHANGES (coaches and general managers)
Detroit Pistons
- Dwane Casey resigned as head coach of the Pistons following their regular season finale after five seasons. The 2017-18 Coach of the Year will remain in Detroit, moving into a role in team management.
Houston Rockets
- Stephen Silas’ option for the 2023–24 season was not picked up, ending his tenure as head coach of the Rockets after three seasons.
