When the Eagles-49ers game is over, all eyes will be on the AFC. Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals take on Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs in last place on football’s biggest stage Super Bowl LVII at Arizona (Sun., Feb. 12, 6:30 p.m. ET on FOX and the FOX Sports App).
Expect fireworks as Sunday’s tilt pits these two teams against each other for the second year in a row. The winner will face anyone Philadelphia Eagles or the San Francisco 49erswho are currently battling in the NFC title game on FOX.

Injury updates
The Chiefs star at tight end Travis Kelce He reportedly has a back problem and has been receiving treatment since Friday’s practice, according to FOX Sports Peter Schrager. Kelce is ready to play against the Bengals, but likely won’t be 100 percent, according to reports. KC activated the tight end of the third rope Jody Fortsonwho hasn’t played since December 2022, off the injured reserve on Saturday.
Mahomes, who suffered a high ankle sprain in last week’s divisional-round win, will be active Sunday.
Setting the scene
The Bengals punched their ticket to the AFC title after earning a double-digit win over Buffalo in the divisional round.
On the other hand, the Chiefs advanced after beating Jacksonville last week to lock one down NFL record fifth consecutive conference championship game at home.
