Bills drop, Bengals climb in Colin’s ‘Herd Hierarchy’

The NFL’s top teams aim for a midseason lead, but there’s never a guaranteed spot in Colin Cowherd“Herd Hierarchy”.

While the Bills have topped Cowherd’s top 10 list in previous weeks, their Week 9 upset at the hands of the Jets has knocked them down. Where did everyone else shake?

Here’s the “Hierarchy of the Herd” heading into Week 10, with information from Bet FOX.

Herd Hierarchy: Bills Go Down, Bengals Go Up

Herd Hierarchy: Bills Go Down, Bengals Go Up

Colin Cowherd reveals his top 10 teams heading into Week 10, including the Seattle Seahawks and Cincinnati Bengals, both making the jump.

10. Seattle Seahawks (Last week: 9)

Global Registration: 6-3 | Last week: The Seahawks won 31-21 against the Arizona Cardinals

Colin’s thoughts: “Vegas can’t figure them out, but we can. Listen, four straight games, and they’ve won every game by more than 10 points. They’re destroying teams. They’ve had the No. 1 defense in the league since Week 6, and they have 43 scoring drives … Geno Smith is playing way above everything we thought Geno Smith could be. The Seahawks deserve 10, maybe more.”

Championship Odds: +2500

Until next time: Seahawks @ Buccaneers (9:30 a.m. ET Sunday, NFLN)

9. Baltimore Ravens (Last week: 8)

Global Registration: 6-3 | Last week: The Ravens won 27-13 against the New Orleans Saints

Colin’s thoughts: “Third straight win, second-best turnover differential in the league, top five in offense, and look at their schedule — that’s a lot of W’s. This team, the owner, the general manager, the coach, the quarterback, I like everything. about them… And you know what I think about Lamar Jackson: Pay him now, don’t wait!”

Championship Odds: +1400

Until next time: Panthers @ Ravens (1 p.m. ET Sunday, FOX)

Colin Cowherd praises Lamar’s skill and value after his latest win at MNF, then explains why it’s time for the Ravens to pay him.

8. Miami Dolphins (Last week: 7)

Global Registration: 6-3 | Last week: The Dolphins won 35-32 against the Chicago Bears

Colin’s thoughts: “Is it Tua? Is it Tyreek Hill? Is it both? They’re 6-0 when Tua’s healthy. I don’t think their defense is up to par, but they’ve got people in the right spots… They “He’s great in the third, they don’t ask Tua to do things she can’t do. Miami looks the part. I think they’re a playoff team and I wouldn’t want to play them in Miami.”

Championship Odds: +2000

Until next time: Browns @ Dolphins (1 p.m. ET Sunday, CBS)

7. Dallas Cowboys (Last week: 6)

Global Registration: 6-2 | Last week: Bye (Cowboys 49-29 win over Chicago Bears in Week 8)

Colin’s thoughts: “I like Dak, I don’t love him. But man, they have a lot of nice pieces … They have the best sack differential in the NFL and have seven giveaways all season. I’ll say it for Dak. : He doesn’t turn it over . They don’t put the ball on the mat. If you win the turnover game in this league, you win like three out of four games. Dallas has earned it.”

Championship Odds: +1000

Until next time: Cowboys @ Packers (4:25 p.m. ET Sunday, FOX)

6. Minnesota Vikings (Last week 5)

Global Registration: 7-1 | Last week: The Vikings won 20-17 against the Washington Commanders

Colin’s thoughts: “I liked Minnesota in the preseason and I like them now … They’re on a six-game winning streak. They have a pass rush this year. Last year they fell apart physically, this year they’re healthier. 4 .5 game lead in their division, so maybe they can rest the starters after Thanksgiving.”

Championship Odds: +1200

Until next time: Vikings @ Bills (1 p.m. ET Sunday, FOX)

5. Buffalo Bills (Last week: 3)

Global Registration: 6-2 | Last week: The Bills lost 20-17 against the New York Jets

Colin’s thoughts: “I took them down last week and I took them down again this week. They depend too much on Josh Allen. You know he has eight picks and 13 plays worth losing? Only Matt Ryan has more. I love him, but you have to help even to your star quarterback.. Yes, they’re the Mike Tyson of the league – they knock people out. But if you’re looking for successful playoff teams, you have to have nuance and power. Don’t be totally dependent, even if the man you depend on is Josh Allen.”

Championship Odds: +275

Until next time: Vikings @ Bills (1 p.m. ET Sunday, FOX)

4. San Francisco 49ers (Last week: 4)

Global Registration: 4-4 | Last week: Bye (49ers won 31-14 against Los Angeles Rams in Week 8)

Colin’s thoughts: “The Niners, when they’re healthy, have the best roster in the league. You know they have the fewest third-and-outs in the NFL? And we don’t like Garoppolo, and he hasn’t had a lot of his weapons. . Now they’re getting healthy. .. No. 1 in total defense, minus three-and-outs, they’ve just been hit. But they’re getting healthy. Watch out.”

Championship Odds: +1000

Until next time: Chargers @ 49ers (8:20 p.m. ET Sunday, NBC)

3. Cincinnati Bengals (Last week: 10)

Global Registration: 5-4| Last week: The Bengals won 42-21 against the Carolina Panthers

Colin’s thoughts: “One team I think ends up in the AFC Championship vs. Kansas City: Cincinnati. If they can run the ball, the Chiefs could be in trouble. But they’ve been inconsistent. The most underrated defense in the league. They just don’t have stars. , so you don’t talk about it. Joe Burrow is completing 70% of his throws. When you can crush people without Ja’Marr Chase, what does that say?… Maybe I’m overrating them, but I think when they’re at their best , Kansas City could be in trouble.

Championship Odds: +2500

Until next time: Bye

2. Kansas City Chiefs (Last week: 2)

Global Registration: 6-2 | Last week: The Chiefs won 20-17 against the Tennessee Titans

Colin’s thoughts: “The Chiefs are great. Andy, I trust. Patrick Mahomes, I trust. But opposing quarterbacks are averaging 101 passers. I’m concerned about the end of their defense. They’re also off to a slow start. They’re 4-0 when trailing by more than eight points. Is it apathy? Are they saving plays for later? I think right now they should be favored to get to the Super Bowl, but Cincinnati could be a really interesting game for them.”

Championship Odds: +550

Until next time: Jaguars @ Chiefs (1 p.m. Sunday, CBS)

Patrick Mahomes, Chiefs defeat Titans in OT, KC 1st in AFC West

Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs needed overtime to defeat the Derrick Henry led Tennessee Titans in Week 9. Nick Wright, Chris Broussard and Kevin Wildes discuss Week 9 in the NFL.

1. Philadelphia Eagles (Last week: 1)

Global Registration: 8-0 | Last week: Eagles won 29-17 against Houston Texans

Colin’s thoughts: “What do you want me to tell you? I didn’t know Nick Sirriani could coach. I had my doubts about Jalen Hurts. Now that’s what worries me about Philly: They’ve won the turnover battle every week, and that’s kind of random. … But we picked them to win their division. Their O-line and D-line combination might be the best in the league. I think they’ve earned the No. 1 spot. I don’t know if they’d match up in a shootout with the Chiefs, or the Bills, or the Bengals. But right now, they’re No. 1.”

Championship Odds: +500

Until next time: Commanders @ Eagles (Monday at 8:15 p.m., ESPN)
