March is here, which means it’s officially tournament time.
The Big East and Pac-12 tournaments began on the day when St. John’s took care of business against Butler at Madison Square Garden, while Colorado topped Washington at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Seton Hall and DePaul are currently battling it out in the Big East tournament, while California and Washington State are facing off in the Pac-12 tournament.
Later in the Big East tournament, a key matchup between Georgetown and Villanova will take place. Villanova defeated Georgetown in both meetings this season, and that was without the Wildcats’ best player, Justin Moore, who was out with a torn Achilles. Nova needs to make a run to help its outside chance of making the NCAA Tournament.
The Big Ten and Big 12 are also in action, with a highly anticipated matchup between Wisconsin and Ohio State tipping off at 6:30 pm ET on the Big Ten Network.
