The United States The government just passed the Inflation Reduction Act, a sweeping piece of legislation that allocates nearly $400 billion to finance clean energy and climate efforts. A large part of this amount goes to tax credits for consumers. So if you want to install solar panels, buy better windows, buy a heat pump or start driving an electric vehicle, there’s a good chance you can get money to offset the cost.
