NCAA Tournament Bracket Forecast: UCLA, Xavier on rise

The last Men’s NCAA Tournament predictions from FOX Sports’ bracket prognosticator Mike DeCourcy here they are, with the top four teams from the latest projection: UConn, Purdue, Arizona i Kansas – sticking to their 1-seeds.

That’s despite two of them losing in the last few days, with UConn falling to Xavier and Purdue being upset by unranked Rutgers.

Three of the projected 2 seeds: Alabama, Tennessee i Houston — They also kept their places. UCLA moved up to the other 2-seed, replacing Gonzaga, which fell to 3 seeds. Elsewhere in the bracket, Baylor dropped from No. 3 to No. 4 after a 15-point loss to Iowa State. Meanwhile, Xavier’s win over UConn moved from a 6 seed to a 5 seed.

The ten grand still leads all conferences with nine teams projected to punch their ticket to the tournament, followed by the big 12 (eight), SEC (eight), ACC (six), Pac-12 (four) and Big East (four).

DeCourcy predicts that the final four teams will be LSU, Wake ForestArizona State and the Providence Friars, and the top four will be Utah State, Creighton, Pitt and Clemson. The next four outputs are Oklahoma State, UNLV, Texas Tech i USC.
