According to the ADP Research Institute’s People at Work 2022: A Global Workforce View report, almost two-thirds of respondents (64%) say they have already done so or would consider looking for a new job if their employer forced them to do so. to return. in the office full time.

The survey was conducted in November 2021 and included a sample of 32,924 workers from 17 countries, including the United States, India, Italy, and China.

“The pandemic marked a paradigm shift, as today’s workers re-evaluate the presence of work in their lives, and interest rates have never been higher for employers,” wrote Nela Richardson, chief economist at ADP in the report. “Our research shows the extent to which employees’ views on work have changed, now prioritizing a wider and deeper range of factors of a more personal nature.
