There are two games left in Week 5 of the USFL, and we’ve got you covered with all the action on Sunday’s slate as we celebrate reaching the halfway mark of the 2023 season!
Kicking things off, the New Jersey Generals (2-2) take on the Philadelphia Stars (1-3) in Detroit.
Later on FOX, the Memphis Showboats (1-3) will take on the undefeated New Orleans Breakers at 3 pm ET in Birmingham, Alabama.

The Generals were able to stay on the goal line from the start, and had a big turnover on third-and-goal that forced the Stars to settle for three points.
Sewing recovery
Stars LB Gabriel Sewell came up with the fumble recovery that gave Philadelphia great field position, setting up the Stars to kick a field goal and take a 6-0 lead.
A keeper on the scoreboard!
Generals QB De’Andre Johnson hit the Jets and gave the Stars a juke move early as he raced 35 yards into the end zone to give New Jersey the lead.
Give an opening to mothers on Mother’s Day
The generals wear a Mother’s Day sticker on their helmets as they wished all mothers a happy Mother’s Day.
The Stars also sent out some Happy Mother’s Day wishes on social media.
